Talladega Rocker Recliner

Great chair! Super comfortable and very stylish.

Of I had checked four there in the various positions while in the showroom I might have made a different choice. I don’t love the rocker feature for sitting upright. Also the recline function is too easy to fall back on. However, it is good for full recline and very comfortable overall.

This is my 3rd LZB recliner. The last one lasted probably 20 years before the leather wore out, some springs sprung and various joints seemed to be close to failing. Bought virtually, the same recliner this time as last time. I like to sit with one leg up under my other knee and finding one that is wide enough in the seat is a challenge (not because my body has changed in 20 years:-(). I looked for a couple years and finally found one. In the interim, my wife bough another brand for herself that cost almost 3x as much but it is not nearly as comfortable and the footrest is not connected and moves up like with the LZB. This one hits most of the high points and features I wanted. My only issues are minor in that it does not seem to lock the same way when I sit back so it rocks in place. May have to go online and look for a manual. Second, it has an annoying low level squeak that I cant identify the source of when sitting and rocking? My wife hears it all the time but I only hear it late at night when I turn on my audio system to listen to music. I have to find it and hit it with some WD40. If I could lock the seat then it would likely stop....another reason to do some research. My only real negative on this was that it took forever to get....7-8 months, if not longer. I was told one date then another to the point where I was almost ready to cancel the order but my wife pushed me to give it another month. Otherwise, I am happy with the purchase and even happier it finally arrived. I dont know if this was a Covid supply chain issue or not but it was not something I planned for.

Very comfortable. Looks great in my living room.
